Vipers har signert Zsuzsanna Tomori

I dag ble det klart at Vipers Kristiansand har signert nok en spiller før sesongen 2021/22. Den ungarske bakspilleren Zsuzsanna Tomori har vært klubbløs i noen måneder etter at kontrakten med Siofok KC utløp før sommeren.

Tidligere har Tomori spilt for lag som FTC og Györ. Hun har vunnet Champions League med Györ hele tre ganger, hun har vunnet EHF Cupen med FTC to ganger, og har en bronsemedalje i EM 2012 med Ungarn.

Den 187cm høye bakspilleren har spilt hele 189 landskamper for Ungarn, og har scoret 468 mål i prosessen. Hun ble også kåret til den beste håndballspilleren i Ungarn i 2012, 2015, og 2016.

Tomori har signert en ettårskontrakt med Vipers Kristiansand.

Jeg er veldig glad for å signere for Vipers. Jeg har hatt lyst til å spille utenfor Ungarn i mange år, og jeg er veldig glad for at muligheten bød seg i Vipers. Kulturen virker spennende, og jeg tror livet i Norge kan passe meg bra.

Vipers var et naturlig valg da de tok kontakt. Jeg liker måten de spiller håndball på, og jeg håper at jeg kan hjelpe de til å bli enda bedre for å nå målene sine.

”Zsushi” er først og fremst en spiller som tilfører oss forsvarskompetanse. Hun har lang fartstid fra toppklubber som FTC og Györ, og hun har enormt med erfaring. Det vil hjelpe oss i en lang sesong

Vipers Kristiansand signs Zsuzsanna Tomori

Today it was announced that Vipers Kristiansand has signed one more player for the 2021/22 handball season. The Hungarian back Zsuzanna Tomori has been unattached for a few months after her contract with Siofok KC expired.

Tomori has played for the likes of FTC and Györ in the past. She has won the Champions League with Györ three times, she has won the EHF Cup with FTC twice, and she has a bronze medal from Euro 2012 with Hungary.

The 187cm tall back has represented Hungary a total of 189 times, and she has scored 468 goals in the process. In 2012, 2015, and in 2016 she was awarded the prize as Handballer of the Year in Hungary.

She has put pen to paper on a one-year-deal with Vipers Kristiansand.

I’m very happy to sign for Vipers. I’ve always had a desire to play outside of Hungary for years, and I’m very glad I got the opportunity to go to Norway. The culture is exciting and different, and I think life in Norway will suit me well.

Vipers were the natural choice when they approached me. I like the way they play handball, and I hope I can help the team achieve their goals for the coming season.

”Zsushi” is, first and foremost, a player who adds to our defensive strengths. She has a wealth of experience from top clubs like FTC and Györ, which will come in handy in a long season.
